Snake!!!

I went for another walk around the pond at work. Weather was too nice (again) to stay inside. Wildlife seen today:

big fish (maybe a striped bass)
chipmunk
water snake
dragonflies
geese

There were a ton of dragonflies out again. I finally managed to get a somewhat reasonable photo of the really cool red ones that never seem to stop:

The album has a couple of other dragonfly photos, including a psycho dragonfly. Also making an appearance is the chipmunk, although he wouldn't come out of his hole - apparently a giant holding a camera frightened it for some reason.

I ended up going for a run before dinner, hopefully it got me good and worn out. GPS data here. Overall a decent run, although I failed on making it 100% of the way around Lakeshore running. Too dang hot, and the hills are too dang steep. Oh well. Until next time.
