I've run out of even vaguely amusing titles

One more shot of the bud plane where you can see the writing:

Wooden propellers are very cool to me for some reason.

Note a little thing called the Concorde in the lower left....

Stuff that flies

But not bugs, just man-made flying contraptions.

The Enola Gay.

Oh no little plane, watch out for the Blackbird!

Just some random stuff on the floor.  I like the yellow flying wing thingamajig.

It's coming right for us!

Strippers!

Hah, gotcha!  Really, just more photos of the Udvar-Hazy Center.

This room is where they rehab/refurb/whatever the planes and spacemobiles before they go on display.

Another shot of the satellite hanging from the ceiling:

TB2 cogitating on the experience of getting to hang out with someone as cool as I am!

I look at this, and I feel like it would fit right in at the lab.  That's kinda scary...

Next time we venture away from spacemobiles and back to airplanes....

Fancy satellite thingy on the ceiling

Various rocket-y things

Another nifty ceiling satellite!

Leaving Edelweiss

After we left Edelweiss, we basically headed straight up to DC.... random stops/photos from along the way:

I never saw the end of these caverns... but I never saw the start of them either!

The weather got a lot nicer as the day went on, even at this rest area

Surprise!  Before we actually went into DC, we stopped at the Udvar-Hazy annex of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum!

Photo of TB1 taking some photos!

Blackbird, sweeeeeeeeet!

TB1+TB1+Blackbird == awesome

Some sort of flying-wing type contraption thingymadoober:
