Where the squirrel continues to be dumb

When last we met Dumbass, the dumbest squirrel in the world, he was peering curiously up at at a Cooper's Hawk as the hawk stared back down at him.  Dumbass, however, was not to be cowed by the superior eyesight of the hawk, nor it's sharp, grabby claws, nor even it's giant, powerfull beak, evolved over centuries to rend the flesh from small mammals as it crushes their bones.  Oh no, Dumbass felt that it was better to taunt this hawk!  Here's Dumbass as he prepares to race directly under the hawk's perch:



Soon after, Dumbass raced below the fence.  This is the hawk's reaction.







Somehow, Dumbass's brilliant tactical machinations utterly failed to fool this young hawk!





Not one to give up on a failed plan, Dumbass then raced back to the other side of the fence!  This awesomely unexpected change of direction was not at ninja-like as Dumbass may have hoped, however!



But hey, third time's the charm, right???

Yeah, no.



I'm thinking maybe the plan was to get the hawk dizzy!  Does this hawk look dizzy to you?



Me, I think the hawk is just kind of annoyed...
