Birds on the feeder

I heard a lot of racket out on my bird feeder this evening.  It turned out to be a momma or daddy bird feeding their children!  It was pretty funny, cause the "baby" birds were obviously old enough to fly out to the blacony, but they just stayed on the railing the entire time, squawking for the parent to bring them seeds from the feeder.  The feeder is right above said railing :)  But, made for a decent photo opportunity, and I got to play with my new lens.

Technical note: it was early evening, so I think most of the blur is due to the high ISO and relatively low shutter speed I had to use.  Those birds move a lot!













After the brown birds left, a goldfinch decided it was time to chow down!
