Where I sit

Because it is so simply amazing, here's my current workspace at home:

It's my Windows machine, so it's usually only used for:

• Games
• Photo editing/organizing
• Uploading my GPS data
• Writing these silly blog posts

Key features:

• Nice monitor on the far left for working with photos. It's a lot brighter than the 2 identical Dells on the right.
• Headset to the left of the keyboard, for voice chat while gaming
• Das Keyboard - it's clicky, but I don't think I like it as much as an IBM Model M. Likely to be replaced within a year or two.
• Sideways speakers, because I ran out of room to have them upright :(

Having too many monitors is actually kinda handy. I can pull up recordings from my MythTV and have them on a separate screen while I'm organizing stuff in Picasa or writing a blog post.

Now, if I could only find a decent virtual desktop solution for windows, I'd be all set.
