Looking down the side at some really red foliage:
The rock ledge that had to be traversed. Not sure the cable on the side was really necessary. Maybe in the winter?
Just a neat tiny cave in the rocks:

After lunch and heading back down, looking back up at the overlook:
And... IT WUZ A LEEZARD!
Really not a bad photo, considering it was taken with the wide-angle lens. That little guy didn't move at all. Crazy reptile.
However, this one was skittish as hell:
Biggest dang praying mantis I have ever seen. I'd wager it was almost 6 inches long!
Also the only brown one I have ever seen; the rest have always been green. Sadly, These were the only two good views I got of it before it skittered off into the brush. Oh wells.
