Well, I made it to the "easy" day! After a bad almost-cramp and a couple of proto-cramps after yesterdays post, I was surprisingly only a little sore today. The only activity on the schedule for today was a 35 minute "Easy/Long" run at 0:45-1:30 slower than our race pace. I took this to mean slower per mile, but maybe it was supposed to be slower overall.
I managed to drag myself out of bed around 09:50, and out of the apartment after a banana by 10:30. I think normally this would be easy, but this week wore me out, so I felt like I was struggling quite a bit through the first 20 minutes or so. The last 15 minutes I evened out a bit and felt reasonably OK.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow, and also dreading it a bit. Taking a day off will be nice, buuuuuuut, it's probably a bad time for me to do so.
