Well this was a long week.
Tuesday we ran hills. Hills are tedious, but I actually felt pretty good.
Wednesday of course brought an early swim. Again, I felt strong for the most part. I have really noticed my form getting better. At least until I get tired, and then it falls to pieces. Wednesday evening was a nice ride with the group - I managed to keep up a decent pace. One of my shorter term goals is to get a 24-25 mile ride in. I can't seem to manage to break the 20mi mark.
As usual, Thursday was another No Boundaries run. We started way too late, and so only did like 3 miles.
Rain Friday killed my motivation, so I just did the potato thing.
Saturday was challenging. Lots of rain in the morning cancelled the scheduled tri workout. Coach sent out an email in the afternoon seeing if anyone wanted to go to a different location for a swim in the afternoon. I knew if I didn't go with a group I'd probably end up lounging again, so I said I'd go. Little did I know I would be the only one there! So I swam like ... 400yds with him, and then another guy showed up. That was by far the longest I've swum in one go. It was challenging. After the other guy showed up, I did some shorter laps out to the first buoy (there were 3). Following that, coach wanted to explore a new bike route, and we went along. I was doing ok until I choked on some of my sports drink. That took the wind right out of me, so I turned around.
Today was supposed to be my long run, about 5 miles. I think I screwed up my nutrition again though, cause I barely managed to run 2 miles. Ugh.
