It may be surprising, but that's not his real hair!
Apparently the hardest part of a llama race is getting the llamas to run all the way. A bunch of the llamas would start off strong, but come to a dead stop once they turned the corner and saw the finish line. This poor guy is trying to coax his llama into moving again.
