The first spring wildflowers!

These just happen to be from a month ago, taken during a short hike around Ijams.

Ok, I lied.  The first photo is just the small frog pond near one of the parking lots.

Playing with the lack of color while photographing bloodroot.

I can't ever remember what these are called.  I don't think they're native wildflowers, though.  I only ever see them in this one area of Ijams.

Looking closer, the petal pattern on this one is more symmetric than a lot of others!
