More messing with Lightroom

After reinstalling the Windows machine last night, I spent a little time tonight starting to learn nifty things with Lightroom. Mostly trying to get a better understanding of how Collections work, and how they can integrate with Picasa. I like it a lot better than the using Elements for organization. Given the right plugin, it can function a lot more like Picasa, where you can add photos to collections, and they (for the most part) just automagically sync back and forth when there are changes, etc.

Now, what you're really here for, pictures. These are from my inaugural trip to Melton Dam. First, try to spot the owl in this one:

A couple of photos of this expired flower/weed. These were taken just a little before sunset, out across a field situated behind a barbed wire fence.

Finally, some flags atop the hill with the overlook. This one had some pretty noticeable vignetting, but Lightroom's automagic lens correction feature pretty much got rid of it.
