Yesterday was a pretty big day for wildlife sightings. I saw no less than:

• 2 turtles
• 2 deer
• 3 snakes

The pond at work was very active, accounting for the turtles and snakes. Snapped a few iPhone pictures of the snakes, but only one turned out anywhere close to usable

I stumbled on the deer at the UT Arboretum. No pictures though, not close enough for the iPhone. The Arboretum a really nice place for shorter walks. This time of the year some of the paths are just covered with small purple and white flowers. Not too hard to get in a 2-3mi walk without retracing your steps, but anything much longer than 4mi probably involves backtracking places you've already been.

Maybe at some point I can snap some decent snake pictures with my Nikon.
